Local heritage recognised at St Cyprian's church

It's wonderful to see our local heritage recognised with this blue plaque at St Cyprian's church, which was built in 1866 by philanthropist James Horsfall. The church was one of a number of buildings erected by James Horsfall in Hay Mills village during the nineteenth century, including a local school and housing. This area is rich with history from the industrial revolution and it's wonderful to see these historic buildings remembered.
