Yardley MP Jess Phillips met with Alfie Dingley and his family to offer her support to the End Our Pain campaign.
Alfie suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and suffers upwards of 150 seizures a month. His family are campaigning to have to have access to medical cannabis after treatment in Holland dramatically reduced Alfie’s seizures to just one a month.
Alfie’s family are urging the Home Sectary to immediately grant a license so they can have access to the medication he needs, and Jess has signed a letter in support of this.
Jess Phillips MP said:
“It was a pleasure to get the opportunity to meet Alfie and his family, who are working so hard to help their little boy.”
“I believe the Home Office should act quickly and provide his family with a license so he can have the chance of living a normal life.”
