Yardley MP Jess Phillips attended a Women's Aid reception in the Speaker's House in Parliament.
The reception provided an opportunity for Women's Aid and other domestic violence sector agencies to discuss the critical importance of tackling domestic violence and abuse and supporting survivors of this shocking crime.
Jess, alongside other MPs, committed to 'See, Hear and Support' survivors particularly as the new Domestic Violence and Abuse Bill progresses through Parliament.
Jess Phillips MP said:
"It's always a privilege to speak to survivors and to hear their stories."
"I know that myself and other MPs, alongside campaigners and Women’s Aid members, are fully committed to supporting victims and survivors and it's vital that we make the Domestic Violence and Abuse Bill as strong as possible."
